Some of the things I'm interested in are, web design, graphic design, and art. I'm also a casual gamer, recently I've become an extremly casual gamer. Not much spare time for frivolity you know :) When I do play games these days I'm usually playing DDR (good exercise!) or Mario Kart Wii. Or some random game from Shockwave.com. I'm one of the nutters who likes all those time management games they have. Also recently discovered Little Big Planet. It is a lot of fun!Music
I listen to a wide variety of music. Country, Pop, Blue Grass, Folk, I can pretty much tolerate anything though rap and heavy metal are not really my cup of tea. Some of my favorites are: Andrew Peterson (All time Favorite!), Taylor Swift, Matchbox 20, The Fray, Micheal Buble, Hope Partlow, Mercy Me, Nickel Creek, Great Big Sea, Rascal Flatts, Simon and Garfunkel, Mandy Moore, Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Matt Nathanson, Aaron Shust and so many more... I think I lean toward a rather mellow relaxing sound.Movies
Some of my favorite movies...Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, Pirates of the Caribbean, Bridget Jones Diary (Cannot understand why I love this movie so much, must be Colin Firth, ha ha), Pride & Prejudice (bbc mini-series), Peter Pan (live-action), X-Men (all 3), The Count of Monte Cristo, The Shawshank Redemption, and pretty much any Disney movie :) Oh, and Stardust (Loved it!)Television
I'm a british TV Junkie :) Some of my favorite BBC shows currently are, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Robin Hood, Coupling, Red Dwarf (Hilarious! But you really need to start from the beginning of the series to understand what is going on at all), Black Adder (Rowan Atkinson, so funny!), My Hero, and As Time Goes By.Some of my fav US shows are: The Big Bang Theory (yeah, nerds!), Chuck, Heroes, Grey's Anatomy, Dawson's Creek, Smallville, Gilmore Girls (Possibly my favorite TV series ever.), Scrubs, and Futurama (What can I say this show is great! Who'd have thought a show with a foul mouthed, drinking, criminal robot could make me chuckle so, he he). Oh, and I recently began watching The Tudors, who knew history could be so sexy :P
Books
I'm pretty stuck on anything involving magic or cool fantastical elements. Recently read the Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer, so good! I'm currently reading the Gemma Doyle Trilogy by Libba Bray. Non magical things... anything by Lori Wick, the Mitford Series by Jan Karon. I've also started reading comics, I'm currently following Green Arrow/Black Canary and am buying up the trade paperbacks of Ultimate Xmen to catch up on the series. It is difficult figuring out what comics to buy since I'm rather new to the whole scene, I might have to ask some advice on that soon.Heroes
Since I work on comics all day long I thought I'd list my favorite super heroes in this space... Keep in mind I haven't read a whole lot of stuff, so my choices are based on movies and tv shows I've seen in addition to the few comics I've read. Green Arrow:

About me:
So ok, I figure it is about time I updated this section properly. I warn you now, as of late I'm rather a one topic person.... that being comics, comics, comics. ^_^ My name is Lisa and I'm 25, I currently live in a small town in East Texas and quite like it. I work from home in the you guessed it .... comics industry :) I'm a flatter and part time colorist, hopefully working my way up to full time colorist. It is difficult explaining what a flatter is, so just know it has something to do with coloring process :) For those interested here are a few of the things I've colored. None of these particular pieces have been published, these were all just done for practice.So far I've had my work published once, a small press studio, that has since disbanded, oh well, at least I have a comic that actually has my name in it for coloring. lol
Other than that I also run a couple websites, the largest being my Tinker Bell fan site that I started when I was 16. I really need to update that darn thing, especially with all of the new Disney Fairies stuff happening. Sigh, one of these days it will get done. It is currently in a shambles with nearly all of the content needing to be updated. I have two siblings, an older sister and younger bro. I have great parents and am so thankful for my awesome family. I'm a Christian, and try my best to keep a close walk with Jesus everyday. I'm not sure what else I should include here, so if you want to know more about me just check out my interests. Here is a very funny Flight of the Conchords video. I've loved them for years but just recently watched the first season of their HBO show. So funny! Netflix is a great thing. I get to rent all of these shows I don't get normally and watch them while I work, :) This is totally my sense of humor, I'm odd. ^_^

And I've been considering reading the book, I might have to now. I know that movies sometimes leave out key elements of the book. Thanks for explaining the whole 'moving to Forks, living in Alaska' thing! I had hoped there was some explination to that :P

Hello, dear! Sorry to have been away for so long, but you certainly lose track of time when you're off having adventures in Neverland! But I'm back home for a while now, and have uploaded lots of new pictures of the adventures Peter and I have had. So please take a look if you have the time :)
