Hey y0.
I'm Dave and this is my space. This page started off as a way to promote
myself as a musician, but I have kinda retired from music now, so I am
changing this page to include more of the other things I am more passionate
about these days.
I spent most of late 2005 - 2006 working on my "Master
Of Disguise" solo album, and then after completing my parts for the
new Xistance album and doing a few gigs towards the end of 2007 I began
to realise that I had taken my music career as far as it could go, and
that the effort to enjoyment ratio wasn't enough to make me want to continue
with it.
Since thenI've become more focussed than ever
on my weight training, fitness and especially vegetarian nutrition. I
am currently studying towards my Certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness, and soon
enough I will be a qualified Personal Trainer. This year I am adding Snowboarding
to my ever increasing list of interests. Also after finishing most of
the work on renovating my apartment last year I'm getting a lot of satisfaction
out of fixing up my garden and learning about plants and stuff like that.
I have a job in the Security Industry which I like a lot.
Before this I was in the I.T Industry, which I liked a lot less.
In short, I'm all about having a good time and doing good
things with good people.
Music:
I have played guitar for about 20 years and have released 2 albums with
Xistance (in 2003 and 2008), a solo album in 2006, and of course two CDs
with Titanium in 1998 & 1999. As well as guitar I can play a little
bit of keyboards, bass and I am pretty good with a drum machine. Also
I attempt to sing sometimes.

Fitness:
I've trained with weights off and on since I was a teenager, but only
really become serious and passionate about training over the past five
or so years. In the past I have also trained in boxing, kickboxing, and
freestyle martial arts to an intermediate level.
My aim for my fitness carreer is to become successful as a Personal Trainer
specialising in general fitness, bodybuilding and nutrition for vegetarians
and others with a limitted diet. And who better to train boxing drills
with than an ex-bouncer from Frankston, anyway?

Myspace is fun and all, but i get irritated looking through 400+ "friends" and not knowing who the hell half of them are. Send me a msg first y0.

I hate to see talented people like yourself get frustrated to the point of giving up. Even if you never play another gig, you can still play guitar for yourself. There's nothing like the feeling of writing a song and I'm happy you have a guitar in your hands.
