Tin Shed is an alternative rock power trio from Seattle. Vocalist Kai Fuller plays bass and brings a folk-rock heritage to the modern-rock trio. Heavily influenced by artists such as Bob Dylan, Leon Russell and Elizabeth Cotton, Kai adds traditional sensibilities to the modern rock formula. Guitarist Charles Oxley adds a hard rock flavor to the band, and drummer Brian Marshall keeps the beat tight. Their music can best be described as a combination of a singer songwriter teamed together with an alternative/modern rock band.
Seattle area native Kai and Baltimore/DC transplant Charles met at a karaoke bar they both frequented. After several discussions regarding putting together a band, they decided to go for it. Toronto native Brian was called to fill in on drums until they could find someone to fill the position permanently, however after just one practice session, it was clearly obvious that Tin Shed already had its drummer.
