dirty clowns, Prince Buster, Lucius Beebe, Noel Coward, Trader Vic's, Hoagy Carmichael, The Skatalites, Cole Porter, Desmond Dekker, shrunken suits, P.G.Wodehouse, Cab Calloway, Xavier Cugat, Max Beckmann, Perez Prado and Sammy Davis Jr.
Sounds Like
If Cab Calloway and The Skatalites got into fisticuffs wearing clownsuits.....
Tiny Hat Orchestra rocked Seattle in the early 1990's with their charismatic blend of ska, swing and pop. Some highlights....they have played with The Skatalites, Desmond Dekker, they were invited to play SXSW, they have appeared on the "Bill Nye the Science Guy" show and "The Sandy Bradley Potluck" show on NPR.
"Tiny Hat Orchestra is considered a Godsend in the Northwest music scene by many. Recording independently in the states and on the Musical Tragedies label in Europe, Tiny Hat has released two projects. "Put a hat on it" was released in 1991 followed by "Noon at nine." Both releases have sold better than George Bush's economic recovery plan, and are an AMA-approved cure for acute grunge poisoning."
