I like general merriment, making references so obscure even I don't get them. I like comedy, but only if it's funny. I also like unfunny comedy, but only if it's painfully unfunny (See: Garfield the Movie, Blind Date). Someday I hope to make money writing. I would also like to form an all monkey rock band called 'The Monkees, No Seriously They're Actually Monkeys'.
Music
Ben Folds, Death Cab for Cutie, They Might Be Giants, Fountains of Wayne, Flaming Lips, Cake, Tractor Hips, the Postal Service, the Finn Brothers, Soul Coughing, Mike Doughty, Built to Spill, Powderfinger, Reel Big Fish, Trainwreck, Tenacious D, Guster, Franz Ferdinand, Promise Ring, Dan Bern
Movies
Flex McTrucker IIII, Bottle Rocket, Wet Hot American Summer, Memento, Big Lebowski, Raising Arizona, The Jerk, In The Company of Men, Anchorman, Back to the Future(s), Chasing Amy, Oldboy, Spiderman(s), Little Miss Sunshine, Office Space. And a lot of highbrow intellectual drama-y type stuff that makes me seem smart and sophisticated. And I loves me some porn.
Television
Arrested Development, Flight of the Conchords, Daily Show, Scrubs, Stella, Mr. Show, Good Eats, Kath and Kim, Colbert Report, Seinfeld, Family Guy, Simpsons, Big Love, Entourage, the Office (BBC), everything on Adult Swim, Garth Marenghi's Dark Place, anything thats not a reality show also gets high marks, also movies on cable. I love watching movies that have been split into 15 minute increments and seperated by commercials. Yay! I can see why networks advertise them as "The first time on network television." Who wouldn't watch?
Books
Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Klay, Sirens of Titan, Catch 22, Timeline, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, anything by Vonnegut, Choke, Lullaby, A Brief History of Nearly Everything
Heroes
none, the world is a cold, dead, vastly empty, meaningless, horrible, terrible, awful, depressing place. But boy do I love monkeys!! LOL! IMHO J/K ROFL! LOLOLOL! ISOM TEH SUFTR! FUCK!

Dude, Brad and Rachel have already had two kids. You and Dwen have had none. You gotta catch up man. I want you guys to have kids before I die of alcohol poisoning.
Only if said "acts of a sexual nature" involve you as well my good man.
I've actually pushed the trip back to April, as my friend at grad school at ACT is in a show then. That way, I can head up to San Fran for a day or two and support him.
I will definitely contact you when my plans become more concrete, but I should be out there the week of April 13 or 20.
nathan, i would comment here on something funny that you said because you are a funny person but you will have to comment yourself because you are not only funnier than me but you have a much better memory.
