    Films

    Any good movies.

    Television

Nothing on TV anymore, coz the production companys are too cheap to get real entertainment.

    Books

Plays, Noel Coward, Oscar Wilde. All good. Philosophy books are good, when i will get round to reading em. Dont read many novels.

About Me

Ever thought about the edge of safe zone? Ever seen a caterpillar risk all for that last bite of a leaf? No, me neither, but if we go that extra mile for what we believe to be worthwhile, then we may get rewarded. How do you want to be rewarded? Chocolates? Holidays? Enjoyment? Or simply being happy? Well, they all sound good, don’t they? The fun of the unknown can be visible to all with a few hilarious games.

I am an actor, improviser, facilitator and film-maker. I currently reside in Cardiff and plan to for a fair bit longer. I have done a bit of T.i.E in Llancaich Fawr; a short production called The Tuberville Experience. It seemed to entertain them. A few films over the University period, as well. Predated to that, Grease (Eugene), Midsummer Night’s Dream (Bottom/Flute – 2 casts), Oh What A Lovely War (Various). Recently, Phantoms of the Operetta, Treasure Island and The Family (small scale, short piece). AGENT: Hunky Dory Actors Agent (01446 781365). Spotlight viewing pin: 9816-8944-8316.

As an improviser I have done, Dragon’s Eye an hour production of ‘the poetics of movement and sound’ with me on the stage. I have done a few street skits, if you will, but they were just out of interest for the feeling. I have done three street jams, two in Cardiff and one in London. The first two were based on the same layout. Although, no where near the same when it came to it. The last one was a new structure and just as fun. Also done a few improv skits with young members of the Incluive Youth Club (Cathays Youth and Community Centre) in club and over Easter '09 we played some improv skits in a nearby park. A while ago I did Playtime with Us, which is a short-form improv show with two players. The Flurry of Florence that ended up being a two-man show, had the full theatrical works. It is our full-length improvised play. This show will be at Y Llofft @ Chapter Arts Centre, 31st July and 1st August. We have various other productions that are in development to be performed soon. Currently, I have an improv theatre company called Ludus Ludius, www.ludusludius.co.uk, that has a sub-group, the student group, Glamorgan Improvisation Troupe. You can visit that website too at www.myspace.com/glamorganimprotroupe/. The workshops I run are through Ludus Ludius, and the G.I.T.

In the field of Applied Improv, an upcoming term really, I am working toward Applied Improv for disabilities. Running various workshops through different means in progression. So, something to look out for.

Predominantly when speaking of films, I have a tendency to get in front of the camera, and let other people step behind it, but I have gotten behind them a fair few times, based on my degree being on Media and Performance, I had to. However, we can have great enjoyment and fun in filming productions, and sometimes it may involve chocolate too. I doubt a holiday unless the budget is huge.

Thanks for your time.

    Meet the performance poets.
They are confused, lonely and slightly boring. Only two things count in their life: poetry and motorbikes. Every week they meet at a secret location to perform their work. Then at last the skies open, colours come back to their eyes and from then on desire rules the universe.

Yeah, I've had loads of work to do! I just finished an assignment after working on it all weekend, but it was kinda fun - making patches for a synthesizer and writing some songs with them. One of the BETTER assignments, anyway!

Hope you manage to deal with you pile of shenanigans ;)

    take it easy
