Tjaye's Interests
General
my main interests are associated around music and drama I love live theatre and go as often as I can, We have a smashing theatre here in Bath and of course I'm not too far away from Stratford. I play a variety of musical instruments and I'm always looking to improve my ability and also try new instruments. I'm more into outside activities I love the country side fresh air and stuff I enjoy horse-riding cross country I Like cycling potholing ice-skating tenpin bowling fly and deep sea fishing snorkeling boating cross-country fell walking visiting ancient buildings and archaeological sites. I love exploring, driving down old country lanes and finding quaint English villages and little out of the way fishing bays. I love animals and meeting new people.
Music
My taste in music is extremely flexible and quite wide ranging as I just love singing. I adore Accoustic Indie Folk Country Bluegrass western swing Rock Blues Soul Jazz funk Rythmn and Blues I'm always open to new sounds. I believe they are all connected one way or another and that yesterdays sounds and artistes influence today's
Movies
Elephant Man definitely food for thought. and Mrs Doubtfire was just hilarious. I love films and serious drama's that make you think. And also enjoy a healthy dose of comedy
About me: Hi I'm a singer songwriter guitarist. I started writing and performing my own material at the age of fourteen. playing in folk blues and acoustic clubs until I was invited to sing with a couple of rock, jazz and R&B bands. I spent many years fronting and touring with a five piece country music band which at times was wild but I loved it, until they "found love" and wanted to settle down. so I returned to touring as a solo artiste. I spent some time working solo and in an acoustic duo in five star hotels in the United Arab Emirates for a time entertaining expats. but for the past few years I have been working full time as a solo artiste singing and picking guitar. The ideas for my songs are taken from life's experiences both mine and other peoples. I have had various small acting parts in T.V. and Film and have performed some of my songs accousticly live on radio. Ive also done modeling for advirtisments, and voice over work. plus some recording studio work as a session singer. I love music, travelling, animals and people though not necessarily in that order.
