I am a people person. I love to sing, dance/bellydance, laugh, entertain, cook, talk on the phone, watch tv, a good movie, a Gospel play or sporting event with family and friends. I enjoy long walks, observing nature, being active at my church, serving the Lord, and making a positive difference in the lives of others. I'm adventurous and I like to try new things. On the R&B/Pop side, I LOVE Mariah Carey's music! She has a very beautiful voice and I love the diversity in her range! Chante Moore (Now That Love's Taken Over, Listen to My Song, I Wanna Love Like That, Candlelight and You--Oh, you don't know? You'd better ask somebody!) Toni Braxton, and one can never lose with Oldies! Detroit, Michigan was doin' it's thang, back in the day! I love Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston, Barry White, Frankie Beverly and MAZE, Chaka Khan, I Wanna Be Your Lover/Adore Prince, The Commodores. . . you know that REAL love music! --the type of jam that makes you think and that cuts you to the bone . . . the stuff you can really relate to. You know I have to give it up to Mary J. Blige and Faith Evans, too! I love music where the artist's REALLY SING! :) I'm REALLY lovin' the Dreamgirls cd!!!! Sing Jennifer Hudson . . . SING! My husband has recently turned me on to Coheed and Cambria . . . look for them in my music player! :)Movies
I just love to be entertained. I love to laugh, so anything hilarious, usually works for me! I love those movies made for children, too. (Madagascar, Robots, Shrek, etc.) Some of my personal fav's include: How Stella Got Her Grove Back, Hitch, Brown Sugar, The Best Man, Love & Basketball, Two Can Play That Game . . . Okay, so I think Morris Chestnut and Taye Diggs are HOT! I'm also big on Star Wars, Gone With the Wind, The Wedding Crashers, Something's Gotta Give, Intersection, Flight Plan, The Truth About Cats & Dogs and The Harry Potter collection. Have you seen The Lake House?!!! OMG! Such an awesome movie. I mean watch it and replay it! Good stuff!..

I really don't watch too much tv, right now. We rent a lot of dvd's to stay up on the latest movies and to have time together on "family night" cuddled up on the sofa watching whatever! :) I'm usually out and about and that leaves little or late time for the television......http://www.myheritage.com.. My heroes are God, because without Him, nothing would be possible and because He loved us so much that He sent His son to die for our sins, that we may live life more abundantly. Jesus, because He is/was/will be the ultimate example for our lives and let's face it, the flesh can be pretty strong, yet He resisted temptation. My parents because they have taught me about life and helped mold me into the wonderful person that I am today. My cousin, Sherea, who taught me the true meaning of working hard to achieve my goals in the face of adversity.

I am a funny, fun-loving, light-hearted, easy-going person, who enjoys motherhood and juggling school, work, and my personal time. One of my dear friends has recently dubbed me "The Soccer Mom", because I am VERY involved with every aspect of my children's lives, while "handling"--no living--my own, very hectic life. I just love BEING! God has blessed me with two beautifully intelligent children, who are a few handfuls, a job that I love, a very successful business that's growing by leaps and bounds--praise God!--a church and church family that I love, true friends, an awesome family, supportive and loving parents and adoptive parents (everyone else's), and just enough money that I don't want for too much, and enough to keep me humble at the same time! Life is great and God is ALWAYS good!
