Joseph '08	Jun 23 2008 9:59 PM When the subject of George Carlin would come up my mother would always tell the story of how her, my father, my uncle and aunt saw him at the Circle Star Theater in San Jose, CA. They had dinner before the show and my aunt drank a lot. When the show started my aunt was getting dizzy because the stage literally spun in a circle. She yelled "I think I'm going to be sick!" George turned to her and said. "It's okay. Just close one eye, sweetie." I'll so miss the guy. Thank God he was so prolific. He has an abundance of classics that just don't get old.

The Ablazin' Devil Head	Jun 22 2008 2:17 AM What a bummer! I miss my boards. I wanted to talk about all this shit I saw and no one to share it with. Just saw the pilot for Fringe. Not impressed. Not at all. But what's funny is that they used score cues from all sorts of different movies (Aliens, War and I think I heard some Danny Elfman too). I guess is was their temp score. They do this often with sneak preview movies, but I've never seen it done for a TV screener. Oh, and we saw The Strangers yesterday too. It was okay for the most part, but then towards the end, it just kinda dropped flat and you're kinda left with... "What? That's it?" Fuck that noise then.

Tonya	Jun 18 2008 12:30 PM Don't reserve judgment!! It's horrible. Also, have you ever noticed how awful they are about responding to technical complaints? I spent 15 minutes last night trying to reply to Tim Sullivan's new blog and I got error message after error message. So I took my blog comment and sent him a message, and it went through!! Then I tried again this morning and I still could respond to the blog, so I went to MySpace help. Their response? To send me a fucking tutorial on blogs and blog comments. Something's wrong. And it ain't me.
