________________________ As an independent songwriter and artist, TJ's songs have sold tens of thousands of albums, both in physical copies and online. Several songs, including "Passenger Seat" and "Out of My League", have become underground classics around the nation thanks to indie radio, millions of streaming listens, and tens of thousands of paid downloads. With the band he founded and fronted through highschool and college, StephenSpeaks, he toured throughout the US and Asia, stumbling onto two 1 smash hits, a platinum album in the Philippines, and a 1 video on MTV-Asia.
TJ's song "Miles Between Us" was used in the motion picture "Decoys" (2004) which received international airplay and distribution. With his solo debut, "Kind of Life"(2005), TJ turned heads and ears with a combination of well-written CCM and AC/Pop songs together on one collection. The recently released "Long Live Love" (2008), is full of unforgettable, "acousti-pop" love songs, such as "Always Will Be", ready-made for radio and commercial placements.
In 2006 and 2007, he penned collections of kid's songs, "All God's Animals" (Recently nominated for a Dove Award!), and "Sailing in the Ocean", and both became best-sellers in their genre. A follow up collection, "What I Love About Christmas", was released in October 2008.
In 2006, TJ and his wife, Holly, packed up and moved to RioSanJuan, Dominican Republic, to start a Youth Outreach Center. After two years of life and work in the developing world, TJ is back living and writing in Nashville, TN. With his experience and success in Pop, CCM, Children's, and his current work in Country/Crossover, he is most interested in single-song publishing deals or a deal as a staff writer for a publishing company.
With deeply written, catchy songs, unforgettable melodies and a disarmingly honest, simple style, TJ McCloud's songs sell albums and win over listeners for the long run; always keeping them coming back to sing along - for just one more chorus...

I was telling this girl at work your Philippines story, but didn't say what the name of the band was. When I did, she flipped out and said she was a huge fan when she was in school at Marquette. I'll accept my commission on that copy of "Long Live Love. "

Glad to hear you're still making platinum records! I'll push students to your myspace too. I'm still doing my thing at Faulkner, but who knows what the future holds. We have a new baby boy named Jax. He's 4 months old and is awesome! How are y'all?
Hola amigo. Lovin' the new tunes! I was talkin' to Linda Benthall last night---guess she's headed your way before too long. We miss y'all and hope to see you again when fate and circumstances allow.... Z
