Only me, though I do plan to knock out an EP/Album with my US buddy Konrad as he has the most amazing voice and managed to include the word squirrel in a song, which impressed me greatly.

Music was the main driving force for most of my life, until I managed to get some stuff published and suddenly lost interest!
In 2000 I had three tracks on a U.S. compilation called 'Diskatopia's Intimate Gathering' and had BBC Radio1 airplay on three separate occasions. Then, for some strange reason, as soon as I heard my stuff on the radio I thought, "Oh, is that it then?", flogged all the studio gear I'd built up over the years and never wrote another tune, until now!
I have just started tinkering with music again, though even with the convenience of new technology I am still a right little madam when it comes to getting things just so, and with my other (art) projects and a full-time job, I hardly get any time for proper audio rompings.
If your ears like what's on this page then click the graphic below to hear some of my older 12bit stuff. You might find a couple of things you've never heard before...
Here's a fun mash-up I recently threw together of Jean-Luc Godard's Breathless dubbed with Flight of the Conchords' Foux du Fafa, I've called
Foux de Souffle
Here's my recent experimental documentary based on Coxwold, home of famous non-linear novelist Laurence Sterne, where I spent three weeks as artist-in-residence.
Wings Of Time
Earlier on, I got birds to make music for me in a multimedia project called 'wingbeats'(clip below) where the flightpaths of birds were translated into music using software I developed myself. This was nominated for Best of Welsh Design at Cardiff Design Festival 2006, was shown on a gigantic screen in Manchester, the British Film Institute, Modulate in Birmingham, back to Manchester for Springwatch and the Urban Screens Conference, the Greenpeace dome at Glastonbury, Burning Man Festival in Nevada, the Prix Ars Electronica in Austria, and the Optronica touring programme in Rome, Eindhoven and Bucharest!
thanks for the positive feedback! i haven't been able to yet, but sometime in the next couple of days i'll download the album and have a listen to how everyone else done theirs. anna and i are kind of house-sitting for her brother, so i'll be using his connection as much as poss over the next week or so. unfortunately, despite my determination, plans to get connected at home have been set back (again) - factors outside of my control. i'll message and explain more. woooooooooo!
hope hannah and your good self are flippin fantastic, with lights and bells and everything. toot toot!
No problem at all, T! I liked that you had taken the initiative to make a banner. I was going to make one myself, but haven't got round to it. But I like what you've done. Cheers! x
Hi T, Umm..."Lampshade".... I don't think I have the wav for that anymore. I know you sent me the wav of it ages ago for that compilation (that was never released), but I've had two hard drive formats since then! Is there not anyway you could re-record it?
Great to hear you got your H4N, you'll have many a happy hour together.
Will reply to your message in a little while.... Jules xx
Greetings T! May I just say that "Warengine" is very orbital-esq. It always reminds me of them somewhat. I don't like to compare music, but I think it's a track they would've been proud of if they'd written it (which they didn't, as it was you. ;-)) and I do mean it with the highest of compliments...
Anyways, I'm looking for yet more musical mischief to get upto, so I'm thinking maybe I could remix it? At some stage?? If you'd like??? ..and also since you did such a fantastic job of Colours. Aye, it certainly was marvellous... Thank you again for that. Looking forward to (hopefully) unleashing this remix LP soon.
what are the chances of that - crikey and crikes in the space of three days! well i never.
after about six months of malfunctioning, my myspace seems to be working all proper now! i can pester everyone again! looks like there are some tracks of yours i haven't heard, and haven't been able to see on your player up until today.....i'll check em when everyone else is out of the office.........sneaky elf
i've nearly finished my pink remix, and can't wait to hear what everyone else has made of theirs.
crikes! thanks! soon as i can afford some cd's i'll have to send you album number 2....and all that other stuff i've been saying i would for about the past year! where does the time go...........? hope all is well in your world
Crikey!!! Another new track just uploaded. 'RETARDIS' a tune inspired by a man who couldn't cope with the harshness that is this world. Thanks and all the best to you!!!
