Tj's is a legendary live music venue situated in Newport, South Wales and has been for over 35 years. (Albeit under various names!)
Everyone has a "Tjs story" or favourite show from down the years. Did I ever tell you the one about when Kurt cobain...
The venue is a mecca to live music, check out the list to the left for a brief idea of some of the bands that have graced the stage here..
Whilst other businesses and venues in South Wales have closed, or re-branded and re-marketed itself TJ's has stayed true to it's ethos of hosting top quality live music every week. Check out the listings above for information on what we have coming up in the next few months!
If you are in a band who would like to play TJs, please comment the blog above, or send us a demo to the following address -

For the month of October 2009, any online order over $20 will receive a "signed" broken or used drum stick from Davey Calabrese. All year long, Davey has been collecting these drum sticks and saving them just for you. Why does he have so my broken drum sticks? Could it be a lack of self control behind the drums? A mental disorder that causes him to destroy? Only his therapist knows for sure!

Its been selling faster than we expected, and we currently only have around a quarter of our stock left - so we thought we'd better you all know that if you want a copy then now would be a good time to pick one up! If you buy it from the link above then you're buying it direct from us, the label aren't taking a cut - so its a bit like Fair Trade for struggling musicians.
International mail-order is available, just follow the instructions.
Thank you very much, and sorry for making a mess of your profile. If its any kind of consolation, we don't have a MySpace bot, so I'm leaving these comments the old fashioned way. Three -and-a-half thousand of them. My life is so exciting.
Hey Guys! We've got a whole new bunch of videos up!
A Lost Adoration: You may have already seen it but it's worth another look ;)
Alice In Chains Cover: Taken from an acoustic set in Cardiff last year featuring some live footage from all over the UK.
Live @ Hammerfest: Hear us playing "Purification" @ this years Hammerfest.
Hard Rock Hell Interviews: From Dec '08, at the start of our last UK tour. We answered a load of ridiculous questions asked by Gill from Metal Hammer. There's 6 videos and they're all hilarious!
Hey guys. We just posted a box thing on our myspace where you could buy our music. It's 99 cents a song and it would be a huge help to us. Thanks so much.
