The Killing Floor is a multi national rock quartet from NYC and London. The band, are brothers, Mark and Oliver Alberici from London plus Marco Argiro and Chris Bunatta from New York.
This unlikely liaison from both sides of the Atlantic occurred by chance when Mark and Oliver met Marco and Chris in New York at Jimi Hendrix’s Electric Lady Studios where they were working at the turn of the year. The whole thing just fell naturally into place and in Feb 09 the two New Yorker’s flew to London to record the first Killing Floor tracks - and the band was born. The guys realised they shared the same musical tastes ideas and influences such as Led Zeppelin, Queens of the Stone Age, U2, Muse, The Rolling Stones etc, and together have combined to produce a unique sound that is THE KILLING FLOOR.
