TL Cross has taken this concept and applied it to his music, creating a unique sound. Have no doubt; his music is definitely cutting edge. ..TL Cross’ pure passion for music took hold of him as a five-year-old child while performing in church under the guidance of his father, who doubled as the minister of music. Growing up in Queens, New York, he knew music was his destiny. "As long as I can remember, this is all I ever wanted to do", says TL Cross, who is readying his debut CD “New York City Boy”, for early release in 2010 with the help of his longtime production partners Da Gutta Fam-(formerly Carpe Diem) and super producers Needlz, and Bink! Da Gutta Fam have penned and produced countless classic records for artists ranging from Usher, Faith Evans, Musiq, Carl Thomas, Ghost face, and 50 cent. The team also crafted Montell Jordan’s hit record “Get It on Tonight,” which garnered the crew a 1 R&B and Pop stripe. ..TL Cross' debut classic “New York City Boy” includes a mix of sexy ballads and up-tempo grooves. Among the standout tracks are the introspective “It’s your life”, which showcases his songwriting skills and captivating vocals; and “Get N Where I Fit N”, “Audience”, & “Do It Again,” songs that push the boundaries musically and vocally. As well as writing and producing, the CD also highlights Cross’ other musical talents.
