The Last Living Souls started when british chillout artist/closet metalhead Kinetic Monkey turned to the dark side, and joined a cheesy pop act in northern Spain, playing the bass and generally getting more and more bogged down into the fact that sooner or later he would have to get a life. This sideproject was to be his salvation.
Inspired by Marlango, Radiohead, and Death Cab for Cutie, his chilled out beats turned nasty on him through a mix of nicotene withdrawal symptoms and too much coffee.
The Last Living Souls have now returned to the studio - Louder, gnarlier, and generally wielding a guitar much more often than a sequencer.
