Our mission as Christians is to win others to Christ. But the tricky part about soul winning is that it is more of an art than a science. In other words, how we go about it can make all the difference in the world. For example, the easy thing to do is to point out to our children or friends the consequences of sinful living. How many times have we heard something like this said: "Don’t you realize that if you don’t change your ways, you’re going to end up in hell?" No Christian will argue the point that true repentance is a must to stay out of hell. The problem is we need to let the Spirit condemn. Our mission is to point out the hope that can be found in knowing Christ. Jesus modeled such a response for us in the story of the Samaritan woman that He once met at a well. You remember the story. It’s told in John 4. This woman appeared at a well just outside of the town in which she lived. Jesus knew who she was; how she had been living her life; he even knew she was currently living with a man to whom she was not married. He could have unloaded on her. After all, He was the Son of God. He had the opportunity to set the record straight about where she was headed if she continued to live the life she was living. He offered hope, not condemnation; life rather than death. If you want to win more souls, rethink your message. Lost people are searching for the answers that are troubling them in life. Prolifyk ministers from the standpoint that people need to know the true God and have more than a religion - they need to have a relationship with Him. With excitement, energy and power, Min. Thomas is anointed to lead the youth into a new era in God that is filled with purpose, prosperity and power. His Goal is to usher them into the presence of God so that a true relationship is produced.
Hey, Nicole how are you? Excuse my lateness in response but the school year is in full force. However, things are great and the days, weeks and even a full month has passed already. Nevertheless, I think about you guys all the time and how I really enjoyed myself when I came to visit in the summer. I really need to make my way there soon. I'm schedule to be in TX for thanksgiving but my vacation for Christmas is open well at least I have that week open, and you guys might find me standing on someone's doorstep in VA or DC, so you guys get ready(LOL). Other then that I hope all is well and I kept you, J and his aunt in my prayers. Ask that you keep me lifted as well because I'm determine to see what the end is going to be but in the mist of it all yet will I give him the praise, the honor and the glory due HIM!!!! GOD BLESS
Things are going well with new job...just completed 1st three weeks. I am excited about the greatopportunitites to train and educate black young men at this nation's only urban-based college-preparatory boarding school. The expectations are endless......hope school is going well and Bible study is too!
