About me:
Dear Friends:
I would be honored to have your support in my campaign for Sonoma County 5th District Supervisor. There are many challenges. Increasing numbers of retirees will strain our government services. We need creative leadership to solve problems with water, wastewater and the transition toward a solar future. There are too many at risk youth, a health care system in crisis and a lack of affordable housing. There are problems with deteriorating infrastructure and helping government serve our needs more efficiently. The burden is increasingly being placed upon our local government due to an inability of the State and Federal government to solve problems.
There are exciting possibilities and opportunities ahead. Our campaign is about finding creative and innovative solutions that ALL of us participate in. The message is one of HOPE not fear; about reason and rationality; about being agents of peace and harmony. The measure of all our challenges with respect to the environment, the economy and government services is sustainability. We are not on a sustainable path and we need to change direction now. We need strong, demonstrated leadership able to push the agenda and build consensus with equitable solutions.
We need to re-invent Sonoma County in order to safeguard the future for ALL. “Together Toward a Sustainable Future” is our slogan. The change will come from the bottom up not the top down. We need people to volunteer! We need your energy and ideas! We need your financial contributions! We need YOU!!!
