"Tallan Latz is Amazing! He played an entire 2-hour set that included blues classics “Crossroads,” “Sweet Home Chicago” and “Goin’ Down.” Not only does Tallan play like a grizzled veteran, he also works the crowd like a pro. Tallan Latz is the real deal and he is destined for greatness!" writes Joe Heuer, The Rock and Roll Guru.
As GM Planell, (a reporter for ChicagosRock.com) after watching Tallan’s last performance of 2008 wrote, “I have never witnessed anything like I was about to see in the course of my music evolution. Never. An averaged sized nine-year-old boy, by the name of Tallan “T-Man” Latz. On a Fender Telecaster, this child opened up like a raging bluesman in his finest. He played his guitar behind his head and cranked out riffs that would have embarrassed Jimi Hendrix himself. Tallan is a Wisconsin native and exuded pure showmanship and blaring riffs that left most speechless. I was exhausted.”
Chicago Blues Legend Lonnie Brooks said. "Tallan's not nine years old, he's 49 years old. Did see the way he handled that guitar on stage! He's an old man"
Joe Bonamassa said of Tallan T-Man Latz, "You are a true prodigy and I am very proud of you.. one blues wonder kid to another. You are so far ahead of me at your age its not funny."
Chris Duarte said about Tallan, "Next young lion, ladies and gentleman!"
Buddy Guys said of Tallan: “When I see somebody at that age, that amazing on guitar, I just have to try to express myself the best I can how good that is.”
Jonny Lang said,"Tallan's future is going to be whatever he wants it to be! He's way ahead of the curve."
Joe Satriani said, "I've been watching you on YouTube and you're doing awesome!"
John Schuld, co-organizer of the Kenosha Bloomin' Days Festival, stated "Tallan is amazing and he's an inspiration to all of us. His talent is matched only by his passion and enthusiasm. Tallan is an intelligent, polite and generous little boy offstage and when he's on stage... he plays the blues as if he's been doing it for 60 years. The entire planet needs to see this kid play."
Hubert Sumlin, Blues Legend, Howlin' Wolf's Guitarist said, "Right here, this is the future of blues!!!"
Walter Trout said "T-Man has IT, one in a million have IT and he has a ton of IT, so much at such a young age that it's scary! Now I know the blues are in good hands! He can play with me anytime, anywhere!"
Bryan Lee said, "I couldn't believe my ears, I just wanted to stop what I was doing and listen. I asked, is that really a kid? Tallan is amazing!"
Jackson Browne said, "Are you kidding me!"
Les Paul,"You passed the audition. I didn't know what to expect but you can definately play at my concert on Saturday!"
Albert Cummings, "Nobody told me he could play like that."
Greg Koch had this to say, "Tallan Latz (the 8 year-old, blues guitar phenom) plays in a way that people think is impossible at that age (not only what he plays but how he plays it, because of hand size etc.). All I can say is "Unleash the beast!"
Kurt Swanson from Soulful Impressions says, "There is no one else I would rather photograph than Tallan. You can feel his heart and soul in every shot!"
Louis from BB King's in Memphis stated,"Tallan is unbelievable and he's been HERE before. Anytime Tallan's in Memphis he has a place to play at BB's."
From a Club Manager in Memphis, "In all my years, I've never seen anything like Tallan. When he was playing people were literally pouring out of other clubs and running across the street into Club 152 to get a glimpse of Tallan and his band performing. I wasn't even able to get into the club because it was packed so tight!"
Tony Brown wrote: "Well...what else can I say...man the spirit flows through the young man and his angels protect him in full wing gala. I am honored and proud to witness his creativity. Blessings always."

Tallan Noble Latz (aka: The T-Man) now 10 years old, is considered by musical standards a triple threat. Tallan is a guitar player/singer/songwriter that seems to be destined for the big stage. He has been playing music since the age of 3, picking up the guitar for the first time at 4 and finally getting serious about the guitar at age 5.
Everyone is talking about this young guitar slinger who possesses an old musical soul, the way he carries and conducts himself on stage is something that just has to be seen. As one reporter put it, ¨When T-Man takes the stage, people stop what they're doing and collectively stare. People entering the room look up and stop as if their shoes were suddenly glued to the floor, not moving again until the song is over, when they reflexively break into wild shouts and applause. Everyone is saying the same thing ¨You gotta see this kid called T-Man!!!¨

I have so much respect for you, little bro. I showed my father-in-law, who is a traveling blues/jazz pianist, your music. Having literally grown up with the late great Stevie Ray Vaughan, he insisted that you are most certainly his second coming--the new and improved, reincarnated Stevie! You are my favorite blues artist! Thanks for reminding us all that souls are sometimes older than the bodies in which they dwell! Keep on playing with passion! See you Oct. 4th!
