Influences
My Wife, Jesus, Pastor Dick, Buckethead, Thin Lizzy, Dimebag, Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Joe Bonamassa, Golden Earring, The Police, Al Di Meola, Prince, Steve Stevens, Monte Montgomery, John5, Zakk Wylde, The Counting Crows, The Stones, about any and everything 80's, Angus Young (the reason I picked up a guitar), The Black Crowes, Skynyrd, George Jones, Bryan Sutton, Jesco White, Michael Dean Damron, Cash, Shawn Mullins, Tony Rice, Yngwie Malmsteen, Russ Freeman, Bill Monroe, Jimi Hendrix, 16 Horsepower, just to name a few. I think the fusing of all these various influences can be heard in one way or another in the music I play.
I am a true believer in that it's not so much what you know but rather what you are listening to that shapes and comes out of you as an artist.
Here is a fine example of just that. On the way back home from a Buckethead concert I was listening to Ralph Stanley, The Del McCoury Band, and some Tony Rice. When I got home I picked up my guitar and this is what came out. Check out the video below... I call it Trucker Metal....!
I am on a mission to become the first independent artist to sell 1 million CD's/digital downloads without the help of a record label and we are well on our way to reaching that goal thanks to you!
I have been writing songs for some years now. Music is not just something I am into or what you would call a hobby, it is a life force! I like anything with great guitar in it. From Pete Anderson's twang that contributes to Dwight Yoakum, to Zakk Wylde's trademark squeals that make Black Label's sound (even though I liked his 3 piece unit called Pride & Glory better). The vocals, as well as the song itself, minus the great guitar work is always a plus.
My debut CD "Acoustic Groove... Electric Vibe" was released in March of 2006. Then in December 2006 I made an all acoustic instrumental CD titled "S.O.S" (sold out and OOP). The next chapter is called "Metamorphosis" and was released in April 2007. This album is without a doubt is the best produced of the T. Moody collection thus far and in my humble opinion the best rock album of 2007. In December of 2007 I released an all acoustic CD with the sounds of nature interwoven throughout called "Amethyst". The music on this CD is more potent than a prescription!
At the end of 2007 The T. Moody Collection was released containing all three of T. Moody's CD's along with a special DVD that has the first season of my online reality show "History Makers" as well as live performances of The T. Moody Band.

Hey T. Moody, I really loved your most recent video where you shredded your acoustic cutaway to within an inch of its life. Keep powering on dude. You're an inspiration.
