About the Mothers of Pearl

A guitar heavy blues rock n Roll band that conjures memories of 70's rock with a current sound that is sorely missed in the music world today. Relying heavily on guitar driven riffs, raspy vocals, a driving back beat some boogie woogie piano and nothing short of angels singing backup,these guys have a true handle on their sound and direction. the Mothers play half time shows for the New York Dragons football team at Long Islands Nassau Coliseum A quintessential Rock n' Roll Band that brings back that Classic 70's feel. Led by Vance Mizzi ~ Singer, Songwriter and Master Guitarist ( Loves his '59) The band goes to great efforts to recreate the sound that defined a decade of rock n' roll. Utilizing dual Marshall Amps , Gibson and Fender guitars exclusively, Vance will not compromise when it comes to the tools of the trade. Backing up Vance on Bass is Anthony Tricarichi whose driving bass lines add fuel to the Blues Train coming on down the track. Rounding out the core of the group is Marco Accomando bringing it all together with rhythmic precision on his custom kit of Pearl drums. A recent addition to the band is Phil Kennelty on the keyboards. He can bounce till the cows come home.We are lucky to have him and he's happy to be here. What more can you ask for ? Then there's Donna Carr adding Her voice to the Mothers. Accomplished in Her own right, She tops off the sound that is truly a Rockn'Blues experience not to be missed. Following in the tradition of the Classic RocknBlues sound tht defined a generation this is one band that will Rock you hard ! Come witness history repeating itself.
