Band Members	Call TMR Productions at 615-865-3002 The type of recording sessions that we do at TMR Productions are referred to as Limited Pressing master sessions. A Limited Pressing master session is made up of 4 parts and is designed to record no less than 6 songs: 1. Pre Production - Here we pick songs and define our arrangements for the songs. We develop the right tempos, key signatures and write the charts for the tracking session. We also determine which musicians would best make up the team for the type of music we are recording. This process costs $100/song. PRE-PRODUCTION 6 SONGS: $600.00 2. Basic Tracking - This is the primary recording session where all of the instrumentation is recorded for the songs. This includes the cost of 5 top master session musicians. This session is made up of 2 x 3 hour master sessions. Master Scale musician costs are $250/session/man = $500/day/man One of the 5 musicians is the session leader. Session leader makes double scale = $1000/day. Studio/Engineer/Producer = $1000/day LIMITED PRESSING BASIC TRACKING 6 SONGS: $4000.00 3. Vocals - Recording vocals is broken in to two parts; Lead Vocals (LVs) & Background Vocals (BGVs) LVs are recorded first. Recording LVs should only take 1 x 3 hour session per song (as long as the singer knows the song). I only record 1 LV/day, as it is an exhausting experience and it is best for the singer to only have to think of, or be concerned with, 1 song per day for performance's sake. I charge $300 for this process which includes recording 5 takes (or more), compiling a track (known as a comp track) and computer processing the comp for pitch correction and fine tuning. If we do not complete a satisfactory track on this session, we do it again another day at an additional $300 charge. LEAD VOCALS 6 SONGS: $1800.00 BGVs are covered with two top AFTRA session singers (male & female). I charge a flat $500/song for this process. The cost of the singers is $160/song/man + AFTRA Health & Welfare & Pension fees. BACKGROUND VOCALS 6 SONGS: $3000.00 4. Mix & Master I charge a flat fee for this process; $1000/song. This includes multiple alternate mixes of each song, sweetening to include midi music overdubs of additional parts like synth strings, etc., and mastering to a final mastered Redbook Standard PMCD with CD Text & PQ list for manufacturing and several CD-Reference disks for customer and producer listening/approval. MIX AND MASTERING 6 SONGS: $6000.00 So, if you broke it down to a per-song cost, it comes out to a little over $2500/song. Obviously, it could get more expensive than that if we include live strings or additional instrumentation tracking sessions. TOTAL COST FOR 6 SONG SESSION: $15,400.00
