Raven's poetry great.
Steiner's freaks and peaks racy coments, awesome. By the way those tights with Lashley's wife were hilarious.
Now some things/storylines got to be closed up. The status between the leftover Main Event Mafia wrestlers and Nash alligning with World Elite? Doesn't add up.
I say its time to put an hour show on Monday Night. WWE is a "G" rated mess right now that I wont even watch anymore. I say take the challenge to them after Monday Night football ends in late December.
PS- I hear you on Hogan. I hope he doesn't plan on wrestling. I was never a fan of his 4-5 moves. Punch, back rake, body slam, boot, leg drop. Sorry and the Hulking up irritated me to no end. Why no one ever kicked him in his nuts while he did that I never understood. Please don't bring in his washed up flunkies in either.
Okay...
To take my mind off how horribly the whole "Hogan" situation sux.
Let's do something that will hopefully be fun for everyone.
I want everyone who's a "long-time" PRO WRESTLING fan to go back, & see if who you remember your favorite guys who you thought were good, but never really got over. Guys who were good in the ring, but never broke-out and became a major star.
Mine???
Hmmm...
I'd have to say; Brad Armstrong, Tim Horner, and Dustin Rhoades.
For Dustin, I say him because yeah, he got over as Goldust, or even kinda here in T.N.A. as Black Reign. But he never got over beyond mid-card level as himself. Given the fact the Dusty was so big both in the ring, AND in the front office at Crockett Promotions. You would have thought that Dustin would have been pushed like the Von Erichs were in World Class. But he wasn't. Which to me was always kinda a crappy deal. I've always thought Dustin was a solid worker. I mean, the guy took a gimmick that was actually from what I've heard over the years, was supposed to have been kinda almost a punishment for being Dusty's kid, and he turned it into a HUGE hit!!! A transvestite film buff wrapped in gold vinyl!!! And he took it and ran. That says a lot about him as a worker.
Armstrong was a simular story. Solid in the ring. Second generation. never really caught on.
Horner, solid worker. Was even pushed against some of the N.W.A.'s top guys like Tully Blanchard. Never caught on. He did have a slight success as a tag-team with Tom Zenk in the early 90's W.C.W. That's about it.
So goys & birls, who are some of YOUR favs who never caught on???

T.N.A. should look for a way to get out of this deal with Hogan as fast as possible, while costing themselves as little as possible to clean up Dixie's mess. Fire Russo. Fire Nash. Put Angle on a short leash. Then, form a NEW booking staff consisting of Terry Taylor, Jimmy Cornette(if they can get him back from R.O.H.), Jeremy Borrash, & Paul"I make F'N GODS outta nobody's!!!" Heyman!!! Them concetrate on putting out the best "IN RING" product possible. Also, push Spike to give the Knock-outs their OWN show. just an hour to start. And do what made them great to begin with. Let those girls WRESTLE!!! Go for as much of an "Anti-Diva" look & feel as humanly possible while still letting the girls be girls. Then, use the air-time frred up by moving the Knock-out to put on MORE top-notch WRESTLING!!!
Do THAT, & T.N.A. will "expand" just fine WITHOUT Bulk Blow-hard!!!
Oh... and btw???
I'M BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Forgot, we also are now going to be treated to the joyous train of "Hogan Hanger-on's" We'll soon be seeing Jimmy Hart, Brian Nobbs, Brutus Beefcake and all of Hogan's other cronkies. YEAH WE'RE ALL BACK IN 1980's W.W.F.!!!!
It's almost frickin' 2010!!! Somebody take Hogan out behind the barn and put him down for the love of pete!!!
At least Flair has shown a little "DIGNITY" & exited the Wrestling world with some class. Sure he's still around doing stuff. But Flair's not still trying to market himself like it's the mid-Eighties and the Horsemen are still on top!!! Hogan's ego will be alive & kickin' 50 years after he's taken a dirt nap!!!
And YEAH, I'm "HATING" on your precious Hulk Hogan. Ask ANYONE who's is NOT one of his lap-dogs, who's had to actually WORK with him, & while they'll ALL say he's, "transended the sport!!!"
They ALL have to admit he's an ego-maniac too.
A quote:
"Goldberg is actually a great guy. Full of entrusiasm. His biggest drawback, is that when he first broke into the business, he was surrounded by, and learn the business from the likes of Hogan, Nash, & Hall!!!"
-Jim Ross
So YEAH, Hogan can go take his "Maniacs," cram them up his wrinkled butt, and BLOW!!!
Bottomline:
Hulk Hogan is going to RUIN T.N.A. PERIOD!!! I don't care HOW big a name folks say he is. That's ALL, he is anymore... a NAME. He can't wrestle anymore. Not that he was ever THAT great of an "in-ring" worker. But the sad fact of the matter is, no matter how "big" of a name he may be??? He is NOT worth the money I am sure he an Bischoff weaseled out of Dixie Carter to come show his face in T.N.A. That money could have been BETTER spent acquiring new "YOUNG" talent like Bryan Danielson, or Davey Richards. Both BEYOND awesome in the ring. Both, with long careers AHEAD of them. Not behind them like Hogan. Hogan will do to T.N.A. what he did to W.C.W. Milk it for all of the cash he can. All the while acting like a Complete jerk, & ALWAYS demanding everything be done HIS way.
Also, all the while not giving Two craps about what he's doing to the company's long-term quality. If you folks thought Dixie Carter has been led around by the nose by Kurt Angle??? Give Hogan Six months!!! You'll ALL be crying & whining for the "good ol' days" when all we T.N.A. fans had to deal with was KURT'S ego.
Remember this, & watch...

TNA is turning a HUGE corner right now. The next month is going to have some frickin' awesome matches play out. For all you Hogan haters out there, don't hate the playa, hate the game(a.k.a. Russo). MEM is coming back, mark those words :)
im excited that Raven is back in TNA
XD
Thanks for the add!
Lol although the end left me hopeful for a possible Syles/Daniels feud. I hope so those are always great.
Ahhh been awhile, i missed this place lol. Chad!!!! Glad to see you're still here giving morons hell lol!!! Derek agreed with some of what you said, especially the OCT.30th post where you talked about cast off wwe wrestlers pushing out younger, better talent. Petey Williams was great! I would NEVER list Chris Harris among missed talent though buddy. That guy didn't have an original bone is body, and his persona was bland. The move that your referring to is Elix Skippers diddy on the top of the six sides of steel correct? Although i thought that did in fact have a name, I may be wrong but didn't he call it new school?
Now on to buisness and what I came for! lol The pay-per-view was really good. I liked it. The Angle, wolfe match was great. Daniels, Joe, Styles was really good, but it didn't measure up to their last match. I felt like Joe was actually lagging, he was almost unneccessary. Not gonna lie Chad, i was bummed. I really, really thought Daniels was going to get his due and win. Figured the company would give him his shot tonight. He deserves it! Lol
