Back in the day when TNC was just getting started at Hammond Hills Elementary Kevin Bradford(worship leader of tnc band) started playing his guitar and singing and playing on loops....not to long after that Mckenna Hydrick started to sing with Kevin and leading worship at TNC.TNC was already starting a band.Later on Gary Gropp was recruited to play bass.After we had a bass player Laura Owings was asked to play keyboard for the TNC band.Soon after Heath Wetherington started playing Lead Guitar in the band.TNC band was set except for a drummer.Then Justin Benson began to play drums for TNC band.After playing in the cafeteria of Hammond Hills Elementary for a while TNC moved to the North Augusta High School Auditorium.Soon after moving in to the auditorium without a lead guitarist,Zak Todd came to visit TNC and later became TNC's lead guitarist replacing Heath Wetherington.Not to long after that, TNC Band recruited Josh Doyle to play bass replacing former bass player Gary Gropp.For a while Kevin Bradford,Mckenna Jones,Laura Owings,Josh Doyle,Zak Todd,and Justin Benson were the only members until Shane Thompson came along.Shane later on began playing percussion for TNC Band.People in the church such as Ron Turner,Brad Nichols,Brad Wasdon,Tim Freeman,Jessie Burroughs,Laura Mooney,Brooks Andrews,and the new worship leader for the youth,TJ have all played with the TNC Band and did an incredible job every oppurtunity they get to perform.Ever since then the TNC Band has been leading worship at TNC and been on the amazing ride God has put TrueNorthChurch On!!!!!!
