Influences
My dad, who left his guitars propped in the corners of the livingroom allowing his 10 kids to play around with them. My mom, who would listen to me sing every new song I learned in elementary school as soon as I got home every day, while she was washing dishes or preparing dinner, bless her heart. All my family, especially bro Dan, and nephew Kyle - pro blues guitarist (check'm out in my friends below). Well, I'm a nice girl :) and a mom and I work full time as a geologist and I like to sing and play guitar. I've been playing around on the guitar since I was a kid, I think mainly to give myself a good excuse to sing. A few years ago I was in a duo with another vocalist -- we were called Greenhaus, and we even got to open for Chuck Berry at the Duck Room!!! Crazy. I hosted Open Mic Nights at a local martini bar for a while. I was part of a 5-woman cover band -- The Momentary Girls -- described in PlaybackStL as "ONE OF THE BEST BABY BOOMER COVER ACTS IN THE CITY". I perform solo shows of folk- and classic-rock covers, and play duo with my brother Dan (who is awesome!) I am really enjoying being part of a duo called StellaLuna with Barbara Paulick. I'll remember those names so I can drop in and catch your act. I only live a few blocks from The Stone Spiral and play the open mic occasionally on wednesdays. My friend Abi is doing a show there next sunday,the 7th of march at 7:00 PM. If you're not doing anything check her out,although Abi gets around so chances are you've already met her and saw her play...
Teresa, The rocks, tree's and streams speak to me too. I've just been enjoying your music very much and will soon sleep for the night. I do sometimes play in your area. I used to live in Edwardsville and have family still in Glen Carbon, so I try to always tour though every chance I get.

Hey Teresa! Well I'm a dork. LOL. I booked a gig for tomorrow night at Cruisin Rt. 66. The date was sticking in my mind and I couldn't remember why :( I'm sorry I'm going to miss seeing you yet again. I rarely play out these days so I took the show when I could!!! Have a great time!! xoxoxoox Jenn
