stuff i've watched this month: i haven't been keeping track because i'm watching waaaaay too many dvds this month. the pile on top of the dvd player has: boondocks season 2, lila says, monsoon wedding, 1941, circus de soleil, def poetry season 2, dave chappell's block party, secret life of words, the wiz, hannah and her sisters, annie hall, radio days, live flesh, women on the verge of a nervous breakdown, and volver.Television
is mostly evil and only good for watching dvds/vhs tapes since i have no reception and no cable.Books
books i'm reading this month: poetry magazine, loosing my espanish, blood mysteries, a slew of tarot books, and cash by johnny cash. ..Heroes
if i believed in such things, these folks would be on the list: janis joplin, valerie solinas, princess leia, joan jett, chrissy hyde, rage against the machine, the doom patrol, hunter s. thompson, emma goldman, promethea, medusa, alan moore, tim curry, lloyd dobbler, ferris bueller, ani difranco, iggy pop, tom waits, amy tan, kathleene hannah, and mike voss. but since i don't believe in such things, these folks are just friggin' cool...
