Xaos, writing, Ninjawars, Webdesign, New Web Technologies, Biochemical Science, Bioengineering, Recombinant DNA Research, Advancements in Medical Technology, Game development, Viral Marketing, Social Networking, Linux, Ubuntu, PHP programming, Alternative Energy Sources, Photovoltaic Cells, Computer Art, Figure Drawing (my art), using my imagination in general.
Music
Manu Chao, Apocalyptica, Lords of Acid, Citizen Cope an eclectic mix of stuff like that. I don't especially follow bands that much, just find individual songs that I like, which is why Pandora.com is such a great thing for me.
Movies
Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Blades of Glory, the 13th Warrior, the man who knew too little, the 40 year old virgin, Being John Malkovich
Television
Lost, and pretty much only Lost. TV rots the soul. Ok, and Scrubs. And Venture Brothers. I blame Annie for the expansion of that list.
Books
Oh my, too many to count. Lately, Anything by Orson Scott Card (you know, Ender's Game). Neal Stephenson, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, Micheal Chrichton, William Gibson
Heroes
Authors (as above.), writing consistent worlds is a feat of imagination that I want to emulate.
Among the other list of things that I wanted to do, I always wanted to be an inventor, but now that the book "Guns, Germs, and Steel" by Jared Diamond convinced me that inventions aren't planned, their purpose often comes after their invention, I think that I'll stick with computer programming, where result so closely depends upon plans. (My plan is to use viral marketing to build up an army of ninjas with which to take over the world. See ninjawars.net for details.)
Who I'd like to meet: Oh, people and animals and such. Especially people that live in Boston, or Philadelphia, since I know so few people in those two cities. Boston has an energetic culture to tap into. I haven't found Philadelphia's culture yet. I've found Naples' culture too, and I wouldn't exactly say that it's pretty.
I'm not interested in meeting famous people, just people that have accomplished things, or found a good life, as well as just the people that are already a part of my life but scattered across the country.
Try putting your last name into the ninja thing and see the resulting score.
I found that the name 'rons' is the best all-around fighter I could create.
