The band hit the ground running in late 2007: Dale & Dan came up with some tunes and needed some players to help complete their plan. Enter Roger and Keith and shortly afterwards, Jim and the rest is history. Dan and Keith have since left and now enter Nick and Jon to fill out the lineup. Their name has spread like wildfire across the Northeast and the world actually thanks to their no-holds-barred attitude and determination. The Steel City has seen many bands come and go, but has yet to encounter a band that offers not only good rock n roll, but a kick ass live show that is second to none.
TOBACCO ROAD have conquered self-promoted tours and countless regional shows, having shared on countless beer-soaked stages with like-minded acts such as THE CLARKS, MOTORPSYCHOS, SACRED DOMINION, LEZ ZEPPELIN, FERRIS BUELLER, MOJO FILTER, among others. Their music and hard work continues to win the praises of press and radio across the country.

Hi Dale, It was great meeting both you and your son at Shaler yesterday! It looks like I will be back in 2010 for the Spring for the Arts as well and am looking forward to it. Tickets for The Woodchoppers Ball are available at www.kentstage.org . The Kent Stage is at 175 E Main St, Kent, OH 44240. This year's lineup is Tim Thompson, Greg Gilbertson, Kyle Reeder, Helen Avakian, Stephanie Jackson, Eric Wilson, Dale Galgozy, Adreanne Zeleny and myself. I'm pretty sure everyone performing this year has a Myspace site, so you can give them a listen first. Doors open at 6PM and show starts at 7PM Saturday December 12th. Mark Dignam has been bumping into Paul Luc and Ben Shannon a lot, at Treelady Studios, where they are all working, on their upcoming albums.
