Im September kommen sie nun endlich auch nach Europa. Man darf sich auf perfekt vorgetragene IndiePopSongs im Stile von Death Cab For Cutie, Moving Mountains oder Appleseed Cast freuen. http://myspace.com/pompeii Support: Grand Pocke Orchestra (Irland, Rcrd Lbl) Sie haben innerhalb eines Jahres mehr Gehörgänge und Clubeinrichtungen zerstört als manch andere Band in ihrer ganzen Karriere. Und das, obwohl man dem Grand Pocket Orchestra aus Irland kein erhöhtes Aggressionspotenzial zuschreiben würde, wenn man sich nur auf den Genuss ihrer Tonträger beschränkt. Angenehmer Gänseblümchenpop im Stile von Animal Collective ist da zu hören, den auch Notwist-Mann Mario Thaler zu schätzen weiß. Wunderbar weltfremder und raumgreifender Pop ist das der hier detailnärrisch erdacht wurde. 2006 sind sie auf dem Soundtrack des Sofia Coppola Films "Marie Antoinette" vertreten gewesen. We go on at 2:45 in the afternnon, yes early, and we would love to see you by daylight. And then we can see all those other bands together. What do you say? If you want to come out tonight for a festival warm-up . . . they are screening "Berlin Song" at the Ping Pong Bar on Glogauerstrasse 21 at 9:30 p.m. tonight (Friday) and afterwards Crazy for Jane and Tomi Simatupang will play some songs. Yeah. So lots of opportunities to hang out and conversation and listen to music and watch clouds and the Spree and dreams and there is a swing at Bar25 . . .
