About me:
I play the bass. Yes, this much is true. I play and have played in a bunch of different bands, but these days I mainly play in Bambi (there is an umlaut over the "i" so don't get the impression we're tame and timid like some similarly named disney cartoon character) and the Cliks. When time permits (and airfare), I also play in Is That You? I used to play in the Star Death and I still sometimes play in Grandpa's Ghost. I also made a record with a film guy James Fotopoulos called Criminal Intent (Phosphorus Recordings). Wouldn't necessarily say we're a group, but we might put out more records. In the meantime, I tend to play w/ lots of other people that ask me to do so (and even "pantomime" in some cases for those that may have seen my cable tv performance w/ Cyndi Lauper). Basically, I'm kinda slutty when it comes to playing music. It's what I like to do and will tend to do it with anyone that asks (at least once). Otherwise, I'm your typical new york lesbian (that has still refused to get a New York ID, which suggests I'm desperately holding onto my identity as a Missourian...the jury's still out on that one...or more likely I'm just lazy) that loves to hate everything about this place.
