About me: i'm a small girl that programs a large amount of indie music for xmu.channel 43 on xm satellite radio. seriously...i'm like the biggest music geek because i love the music i play on my channel so very much. so what kind of music do i play on xmu? well...the kind of music that moves me...that touches my soul...that sometimes makes me weep...sometimes makes me want to skip through a field of daisies...sometimes makes me shake an ass cheek or two. see...i told you...total music nerd...it's true. the task is daunting...but i do my very best to celebrate all the bands i play with vim and vigor. when i'm not listening to indie music (which is not that often...yes, my social life is waning) i love to watch my indianapolis colts at a little dive bar down the street from my apartment. oh...and i have dimples in my chin instead of in my cheeks where most people have them. i'm unique...deal with it.
****i also host the xmu afterschool special every monday through friday from 4 pm - 10 pm east. so, please...join me...won't you? you'll hear all varieties of indie music...perhaps a little mayhem...and me. sweet.
Who I'd like to meet: non sucky people that can make me laugh and love good music...and by good music i mean indie music...and yes, i know "good" is totally subjective...but is it wrong to seek the company of those who share my taste in indie music? i think not. i also wouldn't be opposed to meeting peyton manning or sufjan stevens.
and now after seeing this video...i think i would also like to have cocktails with the adorable calvin harris ;)

Hey Tobi! I dont have my car anymore so I haven't heard XMU in a while until i listened to it on the net. I don't think I really like what has happened to XMU. It feels quite empty without your voice around on it. Whenever you find your way onto another show, tell us! miss you and the after school special! you helped me during my drive to high school! haha
Listened to you for years in the car with my boyfriend on the way up to our weekend house. Made fun of your voice in the beginning and slowly realized that you really knew your shit. Learned so much from you. Didn't always agree, but you always got me thinking. Your'e great at what you do. When you figure out where you're gonna go, let us know. We'll wait...a little. The new XMU format and playlist is horrendous. I miss you on XMU, Tobi! The only thing keeping me from tossing my radio receiver is the hope that you'll one day sooner than later return.
I am so sad that you and Billy are gone. I so enjoyed listening to all the music and artists that you introduced me to so enthusiastically. It is just so not the same. Thank you for everything and good luck. I'm sure you will continue to delight your listeners. I'd love to know where I can hear you guys anytime in the future.
yes, i agree. the merger has sucked the life out of the xmu. is there any way to get a petition or something going to get you back on air? maybe if we all threaten to cancel our subscriptions? just a thought. sure do miss your show.
XMU really opened my eyes to so many super bands. I kept thinking "At the very least, KEEP XMU"...and they didn't. I'm sad that you guys are gone. More than anyone, I think the bands you would have enthusiastically introduced us all to will lose out most. We miss you!
I miss you... this merger sucks... I am disappointed w/ the replacements... I've listened to you and Billy religiously for 2 years.. During work.. and right when I get home...
