Originally formed for our own entertainment after a wet afternoon in an West end Studio, against all odds the first line-up we put together was the one and only one. On the first bar on the first song we jammed together, we all knew this was a magic line-up that played with emotion & feeling. So these five musicians from every genre and type of band that would not normaly fit together, like Darrel from Dogs D'amour and Ronny from the Godfathers on the guitars, King Kurt's Drummer and Splodges Bass player with our Dave Bob who has never even played with a band before made up this magic line-up of today's To Bob.
So after that first get together we playing a few party gigs and decided to take the band on the road and after two supports at the London Astoria and about ten other gigs we were asked to play at the Xmas party for a top Music Company (J.H.E.) Everyone who saw the band that night advised us to go professional. As we are mostly pro-musicians=(earns more than a fiver a gig) we would rather play music we like, so we decided to give it a go as a Dylan tribute band and here we are TO BOB.
Pick any track and check it out and you will know what I mean by saying it would be Selfish to keep it to our self and not share the sound of TO BOB with all music and Dylan fans .
We are proud to announce our return to the stage for The Godfathers' Saint Valentine’s Day Massacre on February 14th 2008 at The Forum, Kentish Town, London.
Tickets on sale NOW for the 1st UK concert in 19 years from the original line-up of one of Britain's greatest ever rock and roll bands.
