I'm a writer. The books I've published are Adventures in Capitalism, Beatniks, Corpsing, deadkidsongs, Exhibitionism, Finding Myself, Ghost Story, Hospital and I play the drums in a band called okay. I have my own website at tobylitt.com You're more than welcome to visit.

Toby, it's a girl called Hannah, I used to e-mail you about how when I grew up I wanted to be a writer.
I am doing the down and out in London (but sadly not Paris) thing soon, I am getting transferred from hometown Tesco to city of London Tesco, and then I will be getting eight quid a week only, once my rent has been paid.
Hoping to find freelance work (yeah right). But thought I would let you know that despite financial hardships I bought H & I. Please don't rush out J - Z until I am a millionaire and can feed my addiction.
I haven't started I Play, only what I've read of it in previous publications. But Hospital IS so brilliant. It has all the glittering creepiness of The Shining and is so well crafted.
I just discovered your work by reading DEADKIDSONGS (in France, the title of this novel is GANG).
Anyway, I was really impressed. I just loved this book!
I liked the way you used the different points of view of the different characters, and I really enjoyed your style. Besides, the dialogues are so wonderfully written that I wasn't really "reading" these dialogues, but I was hearing to them, like if I was there, with your characters, listening to them.
And the story really moved me. This is one of the best novel I've ever read about childhood.
I was just dissapointed by the very last chapter, but that's all.
And this amazing novel would do such a great movie, because you write in a very visual way!
I can't wait to read your other novels! I'm glad. I'm always glad when I discover a great novelist.
Thanks for adding me, Toby. I'm preparing a talk about your Moriarty-story, compared to Sherlock Holmes-stories right now. Funny story! =P Have yourself a Happy New Year,
Congratulations on the Hospital cover design award - I know you did the original sketch. It's a beauty. And a fantastic read too. I'll be picking up some copies for Xmas presents this year...
Just finished corpsing, loved it. Reading ghost story next. Hope you're well mate TTFN - btw am going to be publishing a music magazine in new year - will keep you posted.
I finally found a copy of Corpsing (I know I could use Amazon and etcetera but it's more fun to see where in the world I'll stumble over your books.) It has made my commute that much more enjoyable and stare-heavy... beaucoups de thanks.
Thanks Toby Litt, for adding me. I hope to get to know you. Drop in any time and kick back. And feel free to comment on your thoughts as they come. I always love hearing from my friends. Again, welcome, my new friend. Take care, with all my best.
