   About Toby Williams
Toby is studying at Queens College Taunton with a major music scholarship and has achieved advanced grades in Piano, Saxophone and music theory. He won a bursary from the "BBC 2004 Fame Academy Bursary Instrument and Equipment Awards Scheme" as one of only 150 winners nationwide. The BBC contacted Toby to ask if they could use one of his songs for the soon to be updated Fame Academy Bursary website to "demonstrate the talent of our Bursary winners." Toby has been writing and developing the art of song writing for several years. Perhaps the proof of the quality of these songs are the fact that top London music publishers, IMG (Independent Music Group) have recently signed Toby. They will be promoting Toby and his songs to a far wider audience; they will also be pursuing an appropriate recording contract in the not to distant future. The numerous “power pop/rock” songs he has written vary in style, resulting in an entertaining live show. Toby has recently formed the piano driven ‘Toby Williams Trio.’ The mix of the trio’s powerful, passionate and dynamic delivery of Toby’s songs and Toby’s own performing ability, stagecraft, versatile voice and quality song writing results in a stunning show, one not to be missed. The Trio are playing various venues ahead of a London showcase, to be arranged by IMG. After Toby met Producer Paul Oxley at a gig they decided to make a ‘Toby Williams album’ at Mojo Studios in Torquay. With the help of top engineer Leo Brown, Toby on lead vocals, piano and keyboards with quality session musicians the result was Just Want to Say. It has eleven tracks written by Toby, released by Scoop records and has been a great success. Toby has been told that Brian May and Joss Stone are amongst people it has already been heard by.

All is good in the Haswell household. I feel that Trumpet Possé would be the perfect compliment to your unique musical style and our combined ugliness and deformity would ensure that we don't outshadow you! Just take a look at Jamie's eyebrows and Lils' ears...
