| Bio | Todd Larson's road to stand up comedy actually started in Cleveland, Ohio and was not unlike most comedians. He knew exactly what he wanted to say, but wasn't quite sure how to say it. Then one fateful night in September of 2002, he headed down to a local watering hole for an open mic. On his inauguration as a comedian, he actually made people laugh (beginners luck), but that night Todd's transformation to stand up comic had begun. Since then, he's been completely committed to stand up comedy.
Since moving back to his hometown of San Antonio, his unique style of sarcastic, relatable humor has made him an audience favorite throughout Texas. Performing regularly at the Rivercenter Comedy Club where he is a member of the Rivercenter All-stars and recently was a finalist in the Funniest Person of Southwest Contest. |

To describe The Gooch is quite simple. Think of it as a recipe: First, start with a good cynical disposition. Then, add some self-loathing, very important. Now, strain the morality, but not too much. You don't want the comedy to get too dry because you'll end up with a British comic. Moving on, add a big spoonful of sarcasm and a dash of anger. Some recipes call for pinch of topical material, but he doesnt like that because he finds that it expires so quickly. Then a smidgen of fecal humor (poop jokes for those that don't know what fecal means). Now, for the best part, add alcohol(BAM . ), 2 parts Jager, 3 parts Corona (the Corona can be substituted with Bud Light or any other domestic beer depending on how much money you have). Finally, place on stage, add a microphone and ENJOY. If followed correctly, this recipe will serve about 5 to 45 minutes of The Gooch.
