The Lift
Sounds Like
I write my music w/ a little help from David Lynch and a Go-Go Girl...
Watch my good friend, Benno Nelson and I join forces after a brief spat!
Perhaps I should give you a prize if you can name the first li'l diddy that Benno and I are playing...
For more lessons from David Lynch, go visit: www.mynameischrisdotson.com
I probably sound like The Lift a little bit too...since I am the bass player and a songwriter in the band...Enjoy our vid from our latest cd titled "It Is What It Is."
I love music and play lots of it...whether it is playing bass w/ my band The Lift and other gigs that come my way...or doing the singer/songwriter thing...or teaching guitar to kids...or songwriting to kids...I can usually be found carrying a guitar, if I am not playing it! I am in the midst of my solo debut...which features the drumming of Michael Jerome...and other talented pals are expected to join in the project as it makes its way thru something we love to call "the process."..such is life...I enjoy jogs on the beach in Santa Monica, Runyon Canyon hikes with cronies, out-loud laughter, playing silly characters for the kids I get to teach, my pops and mom and brother, and all my wonderful family and friends who have graced my life...I feel blessed and fortunate...may you too!
Cheers, Todd
GIVE PEACE A CHANCE is not just an outdated catch phrase!! It's still as important as when it was first written!!
We can still all do this.....and if you want to be part of the solution...
...then do consider adding my new song, "Think Peace" to your profile. It's easy to do, just go to my profile and right under the song title on the player is a place to choose "ADD".
The more that this song gets heard, the more that people will stop for a moment, interrupt their routine, and think about peace. If people do this, even just for a moment, there is an effect! So, YOU can be part of the solution....
And if you do add the song to your profile, PLEASE be sure to let me know so I can drop you a note and thank you personally! ;)
Think Peace Sing Peace BE peace! Much Love, Andrew

I owe you an apology. I've been crazy busy for weeks and will be for about 15 more days getting the new feature film out and Castillo de Artistas ready for tours and functions. OMG... my head is spinning.
I'll take some R & R soon and give you a shout out via phone. I miss and love you and so does Macster. We send hugs and blessings now!
Love the new work and thanks for sharing it. Awesome! YOU ARE the BLEST!!! My ex-hubby and dear friend is in town in two weeks to finish the song we started 33 years ago (one of 53 that did get finished) and I'll let you know how it goes. Mac and I are very excited about the visit. My first great love and my current awesome presence... wow... doing music together! Fantastic!
Todd, thanks again for a great night of music and the opportunity to play and for your spirit and graciousness...always a pleasure. Let's hang in the hood
