I am Todd Brooks, better known as Todd Pendu. I am the creator of Pendu, Inc. + NY Eye & Ear Festival + Scorpio Cinema as well as a musician, writer, and visual artist. As musician, I play in chaos.CM.majik, Ghost Moth (with Daniel Carter), Abuse Report, Barkminer, and Feral Comb. I have published a book of collected poetic-texts entitled "Analekta: Semantic Texts" and am currently working on a non-fiction historical biography tentatively titled "Bouzingo Means Noise!" about a relatively obscure French literary collective from the 19th century that included some famous figures including Gerard de Nerval, Theophile Gautier, Petrus Borel, and others. I also write music reviews and features for the online magazine Foxy Digitalis.Heroes

Pendu, Inc. is a nonprofit arts and culture organization. Our mission is to increase public awareness of culturally-significant work from visual artists, performers, and writers that are often marginalized and overlooked. We create a dialogue with the public through our magazine, record label, and webstore as well as through creative productions, art shows, workshops, and music events in various spaces throughout NYC.

We are a Nonprofit Organization that depends on generous individual support. Although it may appear looking at our website that we are doing very well, you may be surprised to discover that we are extremely underfunded and constantly under financial stress to continue. In order to be successful, Pendu Org needs your financial support to stay afloat. All proceeds go toward securing a future and funding future projects. We cannot survive without you. Everything we do comes out of pocket and out of love.
It is through support by individuals that we are able to maintain our mission. Artists who take risks often do so at their own expense which can be very limiting. The Pendu Organization raises funds to compensate artists to ensure that their vision can be fully realized. Please help out by donating whatever you feel is within your budget. Every contribution counts, large and small; even $5 can make a difference.

Adviruz is the artist psedonym of Istanbul’s Pinar Gurcan, whose growing passion for sound is translated through her music. Since an early age, she has been listening and mimicking opera singers, writing melodies, songs and poems in which she spoke her mind and reflected her soul. All of which are evident on "Nightly Sounds", an 8 track album which is the equivilent of having a glimpse into a diary, learning of love lost, gained, a snapshot of the human condition from which we can all draw experience... All of these things are developed musically into minimalistic glitch, noise, idm, experimental music and microsounds, its influences reminiscent of work by artists like Tujiko Noriko, Mira Calix, Plaid and Björk.
Adviruz and Section 27 present "Nightly Sounds", an intricately woven and rewarding musical tapestry. Available now for free download.
