the todd harrold band has been in existence since 1991,and after many cd's,many cross country road trips,and many personnel changes,todd is still at it,recently winning the fort wayne whatzup magazine's whammy award for best jazz artist for the third year in a row..todd hooked up with the phenomenal 8 string guitarist dan mowan in 2004,a musical partnership that resulted in the disc, "further from yesterday",in 2007 on monkey wings records,available at amazon.com."further from yesterday" reached 7 on the jambands.com radio charts in 2007-2008.todd has shared the stage with the doobie brothers,govt mule,lalah hathaway,leon russell,dave weckl,ike stubblefield,the bodeans,leftover salmon,and kc and the sunshine band,and has appeared in modern drummer,down beat and relix magazines.
in 2009 he began a musical partnership with saxophonist rob dixon in songwriting,performing and performing.the results should be available soon.todd uses tama drums,paiste cymbals and vic firth sticks.
todd is especially proud of his many students,and continues to teach private lessons in fort wayne.
