Hey whas up people! My page is about my music and sharing it with the friends and good aquaintenances that I have made, and continue to make as the years fly by...
I play electric guitar and sing in my upcoming solo band that I am working on with Kenny Stravopolous ( Starship ) on drums and Mario Previti ( Vigilance, Renegade Studios ) on Bass. This project also includes Graham, Heather and Catheryn so far in my string section for this project. There are no examples of this full band with strings on this page...but Masqerade is a teeny preview. Hope to finish this 10 song CD by year end or sooner! We had our first full reheasal recently and it was truely amazing. Just amazing. It's an alt-rock trio with a string quartet.
I also play electric guitar and cuban tres in the 7 piece groove band "Resin 7".
You can also catch me playing dobro and singing a times on The Deep Sounds of Bobby Peru recordings floating around.... I am writing a lot of solo Dobro tunes that are going to be released under the name "SayLa". That material will be released mid-yer I am hoping. Also performing with a live band is the plan...
You can check some raw rock guitar circa 2001 with the 7 song demo I produced at TINY TELEPHONE SF and played guitar on for Biker Rockers' "King Money Shot". See in my top friends. I did not write the lyrics.
Since playing guitar at age 13 I've never really looked back. It's always been there; music. From the garage band playing Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Def Leppard to attending SJSU studying Jazz Composition and Arranging with a minor in Audio Production! Oh no! Through many many bands such as Boogieman, Colorwild, 7 Arrows, Rotoruter, Trench, Truman Peyote, One Light Out, Resinmen, Resin.....to co-owning and operating the Blue Room Studios in SF from 95-98, through livin in SF for an exciting decade , lots of hard work, oh and much much good music I find myself in a dream yes today brothers and sisters, as I been workign on 12 songs that culminate in my life to dates best work as a SOLO singer songwriter, guitarist, arranger co producer guy for the last 2 years! Ha! Talk about slow boat! Good things take time ya know...
Highlights of the large number of clients I worked with during my time through SJSU and The Blue Room ( with Matt Singleton and CJ Quagliana ) include:
Engineering credit on 1997's Grammy Nominated Record "Ritmo Y Candela - African Crossroads II" by Cuban Percussion legend Carlos "Patato" Valdez.
Thank you Greg Landau for the opportunity.
Engineered and mixed 12 song original Cuban soundtrack for NY independent film entitled "Rum n Coke." Released in 1999. Rent it if you can find it, great indie story set in the Bronx and great music.
We all scored our names under the "thanks" on all 2 + million copies of Trains Sony debut CD. All vocals, few guitar and B3 overdubs were recorded at The Blue Room and remained on the master is my understanding from talking to Jimmy back in 2000. I knew those guys had it in 'em when I heard "Meet Virginia" for the first time at a small venue in SF.... Matt Singleton engineered "Father's Day" with them on a Christmas CD we produced for a local music zine called "Soundcheck" I recall. Awesome experience.
The Sony Demos with Randy Jackson and Storm and Her Dirty Mouth. Yes the now Amercian Idol judge Randy ( cool cat! ) locked out The Blue Room for maybe a month it was...to record Storm and her band "Flower SF". Damn cool watching Storm do her thing for so many years. Matt engineered.
Great link check this out! Rare Storm and Train recordings recorded at The Blue Room circa 1995! Damn 13 years ago.

Back in Web 1.0 (1999-2001) I was Co-Founder and COO for Angry Coffee.com, we launched the Web's first pubilicly available Web-based interface to Napster and Napster like networks. We made the front page of the Wall Street Journal July 26th, 2000 and entertained developing a "Napster-killing Application" with the help of an executive fan from EMI.
