Todd Burgener is one of those rare people who do nothing less than put
a smile on your face and light up a room. So it's no surprise that he
has made himself an integral part of the Austin dance music
scene. "Toddy-B" is the leading force behind promotions for Austin's
premier promotion group and record label, Slow Motion Music (www.slowmotionmusic.com).
He is also a house music guru, and has been playing great house music all over the city for the past 4 years, not only at his own events but as a guest at many others as well. Todd behind the decks is a great experience because of his passion for the music. You know he is feeling what he is playing because of the energy and amazing vibes he is creating or has created. Todd has recently opened for the likes of Derrick Carter, Donald Glaude, Mark Farina, Miguel Migs as well as Sharam from Deep Dish.
He also handles the weekly DJ line-ups for the Slow Motion roster as well as future bookings in and outside of Austin. Todd is also responsible for his 4 year resedency called "Deep Sessions", which is his night to shine. Along side this Todd has been promoting dance clubs in town like Texture, Le Privilege, Paradox, Trumans, SPIN, Karma and The Cirrus Room.
Todd also is "Mr. X Austin" for the Red Bull Music Academy (www.redbullmusicacademy.com). The Red Bull Music Academy has grown over the past few years and has a Mr. X in many cities across America, Todd representing Austin. Todd is responsible for conducting info-sessions to spread the word about the academy as well as aquire applicants.
Todd is definitely keeping himself busy and knee deep in the music scene, which is the perfect place for a man with his passion to be.

Kinky's at it again! Come see Texas' most entertaining political force live onstage for a one-night-only concert benefitting his 2010 campaign for governor of Texas.
The party starts at 8:00 pm on Thursday, December 3 at Willie's Place in Carl's Corner, less than an hour from Dallas. Gary P. Nunn and Ray Wylie Hubbard will kick off the show with special guests Kinky Friedman and Little Jewford.
