The waitress told me that the supply of spaghetti was fast running out, but there was some loose spaghetti under my table. At first glance this looked promising but on second glance I'm not so sure. The sticks were broken, soiled and mixed with broken glass. I do not want ANY broken glass in my spaghetti. It could be contaminated, so I left it on the floor and decided to say nothing rather than to call attention to it.
I am just getting round to thanking people for adding the Festival to their "friends". I seriously believe the Festival will grow in the coming years and become a home to many Artists.
Any help getting this small Festival better known will be appreciated. Maybe you can put us on your Top Friends for the coming months.
Hey, Shawn & Kevin from LA's Rock Cover Band Forever Vinyl wants to invite you down to our Open-Mike Nights. We will be hosting Open-Mike the next 2 Wednesdays (tonight) @ Venice Bistro in Venice (5:30-10pm). Right on the boardwalk with tons of foot traffic!. We will also be hosting one every Tues (except May 13) at a great venue, Aura Rest. & Nightclub in Studio City (7:30-11pm). Also we have Open Mike on Thursday May 8 @ It’s A Grind Coffee House in Santa Clarita. We will provide PA, acoustic guitars, acoustic bass, electric piano, and percussion. Just come on down, sign-in and you’ll get to play (atleast) 2-3 songs (original or covers) or 5-10 minutes for comedians. This is a great opportunity to play your music, promote shows, sell cds, and network with many other musicians/comedians. I hopped over the electrical fence in the shoe store basement which caused the wires to short circuit and melt.
