my favourite section of the night was when rodrigo played slide guitar with the carlton draught bottle, then took a swig, that was gold
i think they know our drummer or something, i dunno. anyway they seem to play electrified flamenco which i figured would probably interest you.
also, come to our gig on sunday. and bring your flute! i can't promise you'll get to play it but hopefully we'll find time to throw a jam into the set.

Good news is I'm managing one of my old bands again - different name and a slightly different style. They're also expanding their horizons now beyond Stones covers since they booted the lead guitarist (long story).
Thanks for the ad! i will have to come to one of your gigs, your music sounds great. i play with a gypsy singer around different resteraunts, we are going to organise to play at open studio in northcotte sometime soon. you probably know of this place they have a lot of live balkan/gypsy music in there. once i know when we are playing i will let you guys know, you should come along (bring your instruments too if u want) some nights it turns into a free for all jam, its a lot of fun in there :-)

Bought a great CD of Hungarian-Gypsy folk music on Friday and I'll mail you down a copy when I get the opportunity. My cello teacher also mentioned the name of some variety of Jewish-Hungarian music, though I've forgotten the term she uses. I'll find out!
