What else would you expect from a band formed from a homeschool talent show? (yes, it’s true.) In 2006, six friends from Houston found that their individual personalities and talents fit well together. Drawing on influences like Colour Revolt, Pink Floyd, The Mars Volta, mewithoutyou, At The Drive-In, Mutemath, Radiohead, Pilotdrift, Muse, Arcade Fire, Brand New, and a host of others, Tod the Fox writes and plays songs that rock and delight audiences ranging from hyperactive Jr. Highers to uptight college students. Their energetic performances bring audiences to life, and have attracted steadily growing crowds.
