Lao Tzu, Hanuman, Thelonious Monk playing Duke Ellington, Canadian people, big trees, salty sea, people spilling their hearts out intomicrophones and banged up loved up guitars, climbing the dirt hills, lying in grass, appreciation.
Hey! I don't know if you're busy Wednesday night, but if you're not, you should try to make it out to this. I'll be playing a forty minute set with my friend Bavani at this amazing, intimate club in Sherman Oaks. It starts at 9 and ends around 11. It's free, there's free parking, it's all ages, and they have excellent dinners served until 10:30 if you're hungry. Well I hope you can make it, and let me know either way. All the rest of the information can be found on the flyer. Take care!
Hey!! Thanks for the add, finally haha. Anyway, you guys are great and I hope I can have the pleasure of meeting your aquaintance one day here in Colorado haha. Great music, thank you so so much!!!!
you know I think I heard some theory somewhere that even though the great super continent split-up it might reform again someday, just you know lookin' different than it did before.
so i called into request sisters daughter during the hardcore show that miggy was doing on the radio. he said that he'd play it and proceeded with the greatest mash-up in the history of hardcore/ indie folk mash-ups. half vomit kate moss 7", and half of the most inspirational and uplifting pangea song. sweet as all fuck, we should've recorded it, but we were all hella wasted.
Please come out and witness the release party of a life time! Jehovas Fitness - New CD! Sani - Debut CD! Charismatic Mega Fauna - New CD! Nathaniel Klein - New Comic!
I stare at the lightening bolts painted on my ceramic coffee mug, deconstructing the Who’s Tommy, wondering why I can’t relate to it. The thought lasts as long as the coffee and I’m off the critical thinking all together, time to eat cereal and stare at the Los Angeles times. Stare is the key word, nothing relevant written these days, just wordy current events that pertain to no one but my dog. Who is sleeping at my feet with loud snoring breaths escaping her button nose, dreaming of Berkeley tree sitters and the writers strike, I can’t be bothered. “Trader Joes sells wonderful breakfast cereals” I comment to the paper, “Make something or sell yourself” replies the bourgeois paper.
hello hello. had a really good time listening to your tracks, some really moving moments. especially liked golden arches, creates a certain nostalgia feeling that i can't really attribute to anything in particular.
