About To Have Heroes

What do you do when you’re not a band, but you’re not a solo artist? You give it a name. I chose, "To Have Heroes", to be that name. This is my "project". Over the past eight years of my life I’ve become friends with some incredible musicians. Some live in Tulsa, some in Austin, Nashville, and New York. Oh yeah, and one lives in American Idol. To Have Heroes is my way of beginning to see what I sound like with the help of all of these different "musically inclined" friends. Right now I’m writing and recording some new songs, and maybe hanging on to a few old ones. There will be new music very soon so please keep checkin' in. I hope you dig it, if not, go somewhere else.

Also, I am crying because my heart is touched by artists like you who are so amazing and have paid all your dues and yet there are so many obstacles to overcome. So, I am hoping and praying you get to showcase your talent to its full extent so that people realize how amazing you are as an artist and a person. I have only heard and known about you for about a year but from what I know, I am glad to be a fan. I wish you and Jennye the best life possible. I wish that you never stop hearing how amazing you are! I hope to see you put out another CD compilation real soon. I am so glad you decided to take a chance with David and be a major part of his band. I am so glad you can be a part of the Story of Our Lives!

You were working with Mike Kelly for his stuff, here's hoping that you two found some time to do some Andy stuff too! I know you can write some great stuff together, because you already have! I would love to see you round out that EP with some news songs (including the demos on here) and give your fans a full CD of your voice to enjoy in the new year! What do you think Mr. Skib?

Your dad told me that night that you had decided to join David's band and I had such mixed feelings about you putting your career as a singer on the back burner to support Dave. I guess it's turned out to be a good thing huh? I do hope that we still get to hear some music from you too in the new year. I didn't know what to tell him so I said I'd ask you. Not just any song though, he wants to know which THH song you like most.
