I enjoy lifes adventures
I love to swim.
I also enjoy a good meal.
I have been known to play a lil poker from time to time.
My interest are wide and always changing, wink.
However, there are a few things that keep coming up: Church, Music, Work, Play, and Friends.
I used to have hobbies that included fishing, hiking and shooting sports but, that has all been put on the backburner for now. | | Music |
When it comes to music I would rather be a participant than an observer so, I play music on the keys and sing. I rarely listen to recorded music to just listen. If I am listening to music I would rather sing along. When on a road trip and someone asks for music I keep a few soundtracks to music in my vehicle to add some background music but, music with words distracts me from the person I am with because I am too eager to sing them.
Music is an outlet for me, a form of expression, so I don't use it as noise in my life. | | Movies |
I like movies that are well made and well acted. This usually leaves out horror and suspense movies. My favorite films, as of late, have been romance comedies.
| | Television | Don't watch much TV but, when I do it is usually sports, Jeopardy, movies channels, or weather. I don't like to watch the news, commercial or sitcoms. People always say things about Tivo or DVR but, I really don't have time for that. If I can't watch it live then I just don't watch it.
I used to watch Star Trek the Next Generation.
| | Books | Homosexuality and Christian Faith: Questions of Conscience for the Churches by Walter Wink (Editor)
My reveiw of this book is that it does show a great insight on how the church can accept people who are homosexual. I do not find that the theology that tries to side step the text makes a strong enough case to compel me to believe homosexuality is condoned by the Christian Bible.
Straight & Narrow?: Compassion & Clarity in the Homosexuality Debate by Thomas E. Schmidt (Author)
This book takes the same arguments stated in the previous book by Walter Wink to a new level of analysis that I find much more true to the teachings of the Bible(It basically dismantles the entire pro-gay theology). In my search for how the Bible responds to the question of homosexuality I have found that this book filled that desire in my heart to be filled with "right" knowledge of how God directs his followers to live. | | Heroes |
The people who are heros in my life are people that aren't affraid to be true to themselves and the world. People that aren't affraid to show the world their shortcomings or fears. Those are the people that have real courage. I strive for that.

About me:
My priorities have shifted from being one who only services myself to one that serves God. I am a follower of Christ; I am the hand of the living God - God uses me to spread the gospel and to do his work.
I have a tendancy to sleep through my alarm pretty much every morning, over an hour sometimes.
I love to laugh!
And, my room is usually a mess...
I enjoy dancing even though I am not very good at it.

Who I'd like to meet:
I am a romantic. I want to fall in love and spend the rest of my life with that special someone.
I long to make a connection with someone.
And, I would be filled with warmth to just have someone to cuddle up with.
