Tokyo Alice paints intensely colored, slightly crazy, sexy, powerful women inspired by fairy tales, superheroes and dream life, and fuses elements from Japanese and western fairy tales and mythologies to create a unique punk style.
She is know as "Punk Illustrator" who draws a mix of a fantasy and a reality which combinestraditional, modern, western, and oriental inspiration. Her drawings fire the imagination and the curiousity of the pop world. Her first international career was from London in 2002 and continued to open her solo exhibition in NY, Chicago, Detroit ...

meaning of the name;
A Tokyo Punk Chipmunk.("A" is for “anarchy”, li+ce means “chipmunk” by Japanese pronunciation.)
Ever since dressing up as "Alice in the Wonderland" at a fancy dress party, the name Tokyo Alice stuck on her feet.

Graduated from Musashino Art University, majored oil paintings.
