This all originally started under the name Scientists in 2006, which at the time consisted of Dave Coffill and Mike Riley (of Play Oliver). A few demo tracks surfaced and the two couldn't really find the time to continue working on the project. Dave couldn't just leave his new found interest in hip-hop behind so he started releasing demo tracks he rapped over instrumentals he picked up from the net. For about a year he released a handful of demos.
In the spring of 2008 Dave recruited Mark Davis to back him up on some tracks and do a few live shows with him. Soon after Mark joined TML we formed a full on band. The band consisted of Dave Coffill, Mark Davis, Tasha Lacroix, Milo Orlowski and Kyle Berwick. About 8 songs we're written and a few shows were played. The band was finding it harder and harder to jam with people being in different places and it slowed down. A show was offered earlier this month and Dave didn't want to just lay down some tracks over a backing beat so the band got back together but without Berwick. Instead we started using a drum machine to really get a more hip-hop feel with the band. So the band remains as a four piece.
