    Tokyo Pop Stars feature members from defunct music groups on the East and West Coast. The group came together for the first time in 2007 with one purpose in mind; make music that people would enjoy. .... The group’s raw sound favors a hard rock attitude with pop sensibilities. The members begin to combine their musical knowledge and inject their personality and flair into song after song. The mainstay of the band is a steady beat, almost lead like bottom end and rocked out distorted guitar. Throw in vocal harmonization and you have achieved Tokyo Pop Stars..... The band has been influenced and even compared to Weezer, The Ramones, The Clash, White Stripes, The Cars and many others.
