Samuel “Shucks” and Sammy “Soulvent” AKA Tokyo Prose have been quick to make an impression locally and abroad with their beats and diverse selections. Drawing from an eclectic range of influences, and a wide appreciation of styles, they have been working collectively in the studio since the beginning of 2008. In this short time, their beats have received plenty of support from artists and DJ's such as: Presha, Naibu, Redeyes, ASC, Luca, Soul Intent, Data, Sinistarr and Cern. With forthcoming releases for Samurai Red Seal and collaborations with local producers Luca & Cern, 2009 is looking to be a busy year for this duo.
