Tolchock is a Swedish Techno-Trance-Electro-Metal band playing music in the land between Prodigy and Nine Inch Nails. Or like KMFDM vs Dance or Die (Sideline Magazine)A violent electronic mixture of many influences. The result is physical and exciting machine music.
Tolchock is a crossover between dance music and physical machine music with roots in EBM. The result is a danceable, provocative and aggressive mix of electro and heavy hardcore guitarr riffs.
Tolchock have from the start developed their concept in parallel with the electronic dance scene. The music is a hybrid between techno-EBM and Industrial music. Somewhere in the land of Prodigy, Nine Inch Nails and Front Line Assembly.
With history in the cult band Tolchock 14, the new Tolchock took form in 1996 and released the debut album " In The Name Od Tolchock" 1998. In 2000 they released the maxi CD singel : "A practice for hell - Kicks remix", both on the Swedish label Energy Rekords.
The core of Tolchock are the three members: Jesus, Christ and Kinky. Live is Tolchock an adrenaline filled act full of energy, with more people and elements added to create an audiovisual and dynamic experience.
Tolchock is signed for COP-International. The latest full album is "Wipe out, Burn down, Annihilate" released in 2006. At this moment Tolchock working with new material. The cover album Rewinded released oktober 2009 contains songs from the 80s and one hitsingel from 2008. This exclusive album will only be released in digital stores (Itunes and Spotified etc).
